RN-led Strategy

I’m Mindy, and I didn’t earn the "Salty Nurse" title sitting behind a desk. With over 23 years of clinical experience spanning Labor & Delivery, Home Health, and Healthcare Leadership, I’ve seen the medical system at its best—and its most chaotic.

My career has been defined by a refusal to accept "good enough" when it comes to patient outcomes and medical documentation. Whether I’m screening a complex legal case for merit or helping a family find their voice in a specialist's office, my approach is the same: unfiltered, analytical, and grounded in truth.

Why I Do This

My 20-year battle with Endometriosis isn't just a personal story, it's my masterclass in healthcare systemic failure. I learned firsthand how easily symptoms are dismissed and how charting can be manipulated to minimize patient pain. I don't just sympathize with my clients; I know exactly where the system tried to hide the truth.

Today, I use that "salty" grit to bridge the gap:

  • For Attorneys: I provide the clinical "BS detector" you need. I translate dense medical records into clear, actionable chronologies, identifying deviations in care that others might miss.

  • For Patients & Families: I act as your tactical ally. I help you decode doctor-speak, prepare for high-stakes appointments, and ensure you are never just a number in the system.

The Salty Nurse Standard

I believe in clarity over jargon, facts over assumptions, and advocacy that actually moves the needle. When the stakes are high—whether in a courtroom or a consultation room—you need an expert who has been there, done that, and isn't afraid to speak up.

Let’s get to work.

  • Instead of just checking for "missing records," I identify the specific missing flowsheets that defense teams hope you won't ask for.

  • Instead of verifying if a medication was given, I analyze the timing of that dose against the patient's vitals to prove a delay in recognition of distress.

  • Instead of summarizing a doctor’s note, I cross-reference it with nursing observations to catch the "documentation gaps" where the real story lives.

  • Instead of "Standard of Care" buzzwords, I provide the tactical clinical evidence needed to win a deposition or secure a fair settlement.
